Robert Jackson was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. Athletics have always played a pivotal role my his life. Throughout my formative years, I excelled in football, baseball, track and basketball.
After graduating high school, I joined the United States Navy where I performed my call of duty for the following ten years. Upon leaving the Navy, I pursued a career in the field of Information Technology.
After a decade in corporate America, I finally decided to pursue my dream of teaching athletics and coaching full time. I have enjoyed coaching youth basketball at the YMCA, and I am currently coaching a youth football team. The Amazing Athlete's program was a natural culmination of my athletic talent, fundamental knowledge, and desire to work with children.
Sports and training for sports have always been a motivating force in the Jackson family. Testament to this is my 16 year-old son, who, not unlike his father, shows talent and great promise in high school football and track. My passion for sports combined with a natural affinity for instructing children makes the Amazing Athletes program the perfect platform to realize my dream of working with children through sport.
